The Celtic month of Ivy, August 8 - September 4, is associated with:

Stone: Opal

Opal induces psychic visions, amplifies thoughts and feelings, releases inhibitions, facilitates loyalty, encourages spontaneity, and brings things to the surface for transformation. It vibrates to the number eight, and is especially helpful for Scorpio, Cancer, Libra, and Pisces.

There are several types of opal, each of which has additional properties and qualities:

Blue Opal - helpful in speaking your mind without fear, belief in yourself, finding like-minded people, facilitates trance states, and assists with divination. Vibrates to numbers three and nine, and is good for Taurus.

Boulder Opal - helps connection with inner beauty and authenticity, enhances mental clarity. Vibrates to number four and six, and is especially helpful for Scorpio.

Fire Opal - enhances personal power, security, optimism, ability to overcome. Vibrates to number nine, pairs well with the energies of Sagittarius, Pisces, Libra, Leo, and Cancer.

Green Opal - helps connection with the power of creating ones reality, promotes a relaxed state, assists in maintaining dietary habits. Vibrates to number three, and is helpful for Aries and Sagittarius.

Mexican Opal - beneficial for recalling past lives, sensuality, sexuality, and vitality.

Mount Shasta Opal - calms the emotional body, brings love, facilitates healing the emotions and trauma, clears chakras.

Pink Opal - good for renewal, releasing old patterns, and aids meditation. Vibrates to number six and pairs well with the energies of Libra, Virgo, and Sagittarius.

Red Opal - good for "burning" through attachment and negative patterns, bringing your patterns into awareness, and amplifying emotions. Vibrates to number eight, and most helpful for Taurus and Leo.

White precious Opal - calls in angelic energy, strengthens auric field, and intensifies connection with spirit guides. Vibrates to number eight, and connects well with Virgo and Libra.
