Sturgeon Moon: August 2024

This month's full moon is in Aquarius, exact today at 1:25 PM CT. It is also considered by many astrologers to be a "super blue moon" because it is the third of four full moons in a season (blue moon) and the moon is closest to the Earth (super moon). 

When the moon is in Aquarius, we can experience new and unexpected things, redirections, and sudden pivots on our path. If we are open to seeing situations that need improvement or refinement, this is a time where we'll discover new solutions and innovative solutions. 

This Aquarian lunar influence is especially beneficial for community organizations, and multicultural/global initiatives. It's a great time for future-focused hearts and minds to come together for the common good.

With the moon squaring Uranus, Jupiter, and Saturn, there may be a spotlight on individuals or groups who have been dishonest or even hid criminal activity from the public, with serious consequences such as legal decisions and even prison time for those responsible. No more hiding in the shadows. No more believing the lies. Expect a message of hope and integrity to ring out and resonate this week--especially with people who are actively engaged in social/political efforts.

On the personal level, Aquarian lunar energy may stir imposter syndrome feelings but be assured the truth will soon dispel these temporary circumstances as your heart and mind awaken to your potential.  Remember to consider your connection to the collective--family and chosen family, friends, career, coven, community, and the Earth.

This is a beautiful time to incorporate water in your intentions, as Aquarius is the water-bearer. Aquarius full moon is ideal for friendship and meeting new people spells, technology and problem solving rituals, spellwork for breaking outgrown habits or patterns, and for group magick.
