Happy Arbor Day!

Who's planting or caring for trees today?

My favorite tree growing up was a huge willow tree. I hid under it, climbed it, and loved it. One day it was destroyed in a terrible thunderstorm. I cried and cried when the remains were taken down.

That tree and my traumatic experience of losing her became an integral part of THE ACCIDENTAL WITCH (book one of The Recollection of Trees series).

For me, trees have always felt like friends.
