Hawthorn: Topaz

Each of the Celtic trees correlates with a crystal or stone.

The Celtic month of Hawthorn, March 21 - April 17, is associated with:

Stone: Topaz

This crystal is good for calm and peace of mind, especially with periods of change or distance travel. It is generally associated with Sagittarius and vibrates to the number six.

Some specific types of topaz have additional properties:

Blue Topaz - calms the busy mind during meditation, enhances communication, supports truth and wisdom. It pairs well with Virgo and Sagittarius energies, and vibrates to the number 3.

Imperial Topaz - is a powerful stone for manifestation, and helps maintain healthy boundaries. (perfect for the month of Hawthorn!) It pairs well with Aries energy.

If you're feeling drawn to topaz, you may need more consistent time to meditate and connect with your inner calm (if you're not already practicing this self-care). If it's clearer communication you're seeking, definitely wear it or carry it in a pocket when you have to be in a situation that has been unclear.

My GenX teen self needs to mention that one of my favorite songs back in the day (ok, currently too) was "Topaz" by the B-52s. It's such a lovely, dreamy, calming song. Great for a little break from whatever stress today might have brought.
